When I saw on weather.com Tuesday that it would be 85 on Thursday, I started wavering in my conviction not to use the pool heater again this season. The propane tank actually hums and frost forms on it, the gas leaves it so fast to power our swell 400,000 btu unit. But when I saw that Friday's weather was going to be a high of 55, I knew we were going to have our last day of summer and I caved and started the heater. What a beautiful day we had. We did a little book learning school in the morning and were in the 90 degree pool by noon.
