It has been a balmy winter, and that's for sure. I couldn't be more thankful, I have needed to escape to the deck many times recently for one reason or another. I would very much love it to be an early spring... dry enough to keep the mosquitoes at bay for yet another summer. Here in this picture we see, on January 27th, 2006, while Pete is sitting OUTSIDE on the deck, a FLY landed on his pantleg!
