Our dear Jaime is 14 Yrs Old! Wow, how did that happen?
Jackie, Molly and I went to have lunch with her at school :) Turns out, some kids are being unkind to her again/still, and when she sits down for lunch they all get up and leave :( I tell you I feel so crabby that kids can be so cruel to a child with obvious disabilities. I am so very thankful for all her teachers and aides that care for her and understand how hard it is for us all to have that kind of stuff happen. Her LD teacher arranged for Jaime to be a helper at lunch, handing out milk. Jaime is thrilled to be able to do that and I can feel a little more at ease knowing that she will be surrounded by adults who like her and just their presence will keep most kids from being so rude... Thank You Lord, for these wonderful people!
