As I was up late doing my annual Valentine Breakfast table, I thought about how this tradition has changed over the years and how next year's will look. I try not to wax nostalgic too often (makes me tear up, and then **sniff sniff** I get a headache...) But I could not help remembering back when we had next to no money and I handmade Valentines for all the at home kids and each got a cupcake. Then when things started be a little less destitute, I still made the Valentines but also added little presents to the cupcakes. I like to dress up the table and make something yummy for breakfast. This year was "so bad for you" cold cereal (chocolate marshmallow maybe's as we call it) because we needed to hussle out the door for church. I also send a package to whomever is in college that year. Now Kelly is long graduated from college, Lucas, too, has long since left home. This year we were missing Petey at the table :( Next year Kat will no longer be in college, Josh will likely get a package at whatever base he is stationed at, and there will be six new people around this table (well... maybe not this table!) Exciting but a little sad... several of my babies have grown up **sniff sniff** Where are the kleenex and tylenol...I feel a headache coming on...

I know this may be asking a lot, but could you possibly post a "get to know EVERYBODY" post when you get the new kids home? I've been reading your blog since shortly after the last adoption, but still find myself mixing up who is who most of the time! lol.
