Mission Accomplished... Almost

I am so close to being done with the decluttering project I started a week or so ago. Even the basement is totally shoveled out and organized. The last thing on the list is the entryway closets... tops are already done, so it won't take long. John built me a new pantry upstairs. Now all our food for the week is upstairs, leaving my basement pantry free for more #10 cans of whatever :)

This afternoon we will be cleaning our greatroom light fixtures that are full of fuzz, lint and wood dust from all the winter's indoor building projects. John is picking up our tongue in groove birch and cedar from the planer today, too. Next week I will be able to blog about our finished walls in two bathrooms...

I realize that this is less than interesting to most people, but to me a clean house is positively EXCITING! I can remember when I used to have the kids head people off in the driveway so they would not come to the door and see our disaster spilling out onto the porch. I don't EVER have that problem anymore. The more stuff I get rid of the more relaxed I feel. Hooray for minimalist living. Now to be debt-free...

Congratulations! If you decluttered my work bench there would be no room in the garbage house :)
