Remember "milk monitors" from back in Kindergarten? At my school that was the kid(s) who got to go down to the lunchroom and pick up the crate of little milk cartons for snack time. Melissa is our milk monitor... slightly different from the milk monitors of days gone by. She actually does monitor our milk supply. Every day, usually more than once, she will give me the report: "Mom, we have 1 1/2 gallons of milk left."
