Doing Hair

I spent most of Sunday and Monday braiding hair.  Mira's hair is just finally getting long enough for braiding :)  When she came to us her hair had been straightened every day and looked very cute, but the hot iron had damaged it so that it was thin and crispy :(  

In these photos you can see that these kinds of braids are all I know how to do  my speciality :)  French braiding has always alluded me... I am unable to make my long fingers with large and somewhat arthritic knuckles be able to pick up hair and tuck it in as I go.  I am taking hope in the fact that soon these girls will be able to do their own hair and do it much better than their mom.
