I am on my own parenting 10 kids this weekend. John and the 3 oldest "at home" kids have made the trip to Ft Lost in the Woods, Misery, to be with Josh for the holiday weekend. They left early Thursday and will be back late on Tuesday.
We are doing pretty well here, despite the skewed adult to disfunctional child ratio we have going. Jaime had another seizure yesterday morning. The last two have been different, not the grand mal kind but ones where she seems awake, shakes violently, can answer questions but then remembers nothing of it when it passes. Yesterday she said a lot of stange stuff, like she was having a dream or something during the seizure. sigh...
Unfortunately Jaime has not held it together very well this morning, so we are missing church. It was rather optimistic of me to think, with only Jackie and Molly able to behave normally for any length of time, that we could sit in church for an hour. So we will celebrate our wonderful country at home, with swimming, tacos in a bag, root beer, cards, bananagrams and hanging out clothes (no break from laundry in a family this size, holiday or no...)
Thank you, Lord, for putting us in this great country... where we are free to do so many things, including worship You! In the Name of Jesus our Savior, AMEN!

Tacos in a bag?
I agree you are gonna have to explain Tacos in a bag!
Tacos in a bag: Take an individual size bag of fritos, nacho doritos or the like, give it a slight crunch, crunch to break up the chips a bit. Open the top (or I prefer to cut the side) and spoon in the stuff: taco meat, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, salsa, onions, olives and whatever you like... stir it up and eat right out of the bag :)
