Here we are... Molly, Mommy and Jackie. It was September 24, and we are in the pool!! Wow! Don't know that has EVER happened before. We truly have had summer in September this year. The tomatoes are ripening, the weather has been fabulous (though I tell you, by 5pm in September, the sun has lost a lot of its heat!)The next day (Friday, September 25) I drained the pool down past the skimmer, getting ready to put the winter cover on. I cleaned the filter panels, started the water running out, and then... I couldn't stand it. It was only 69 degrees, but I got in and swam for at least 30 minutes while the water ran out... sigh...
An aside: The only time we get this particular beautiful sunset color is in the fall. It starts with a shade of pink that looks totally unnatural and moves into this beautiful orange....
