At any rate, after that I took my chair and went out in the woods to read, leaving John somewhat in charge.

While I was out there in the trees, the wind blocked by the high brush, I watched some grouse up in the pines and thought maybe I would get out the tent and stay out there all night. So I did. I also asked Tom and Reubs if they wanted to sleep out, which they did. We brought the Fritos,
root beer and diet Sierra Mist and a million blankets with us.Kat came out and read to us... She is reading The Fellowship of the Ring out loud to Tom and Reuben... so we snuggled down in our covers and listened.
It was not too bad a night, though my feet were a little cold by morning as it got down to 28 degrees.... and I still had to come in and face the same old same old this morning... Snow is forecasted for Wednesday. Nuts...

That sounds like fun! How nice it must be to live where you live! I have too many neighbors to pitch a tent and sleep outside. I bet it was a little chilly though!
