Enjoying Fall Days

These days, Pete and Josh are up at 5am and out in the paddies in their custom camouflaged canoe. There they sit among their decoys, waiting for ducks. We can hear them from the deck, out there quacking and honking, hoping to attract their lunch. Here they are, after a successful morning recently.

Here is a picture of a little bird who flew around and around in the garage, trying to find its way out. It got so tired that the kids were able to pick it up and carry is around before it finally had the gumption to fly away again.


This is Melissa's little basket of Cheetos that she had out at the firepit last week. If you look closely you can see her retainer stuck in there among the Cheetos...eeewwwww.



And lastly, for now anyway, is Jackie enjoying the fire.
