Yesterday Kat, Pete, Josh and Becca left on their own little camping trip. They are trying out the equipment (room in the little tent, etc) before they take their big BWCA trip next month. Hard to believe they are old enough to do this on their own. I have every confidence that whatever comes up that needs a guy, Pete can do it. Kat has had lifeguard/CPR/ER First Aid training. Josh and Becca are more than reliable, too. I am praying for a safe, bonding experience for them. Hopefully they will do this kind of thing together a lot in the years to come.
It is over 90 degrees right now, so I am heading out to the pool!
