Fire Bug

I am blogging this so that in a couple of months I can look back and say, as I do about so many things, "Remember when we thought that was a huge problem?"
Our six year old boy is having a little trouble with fire. He is the one who burned holes in the pull-ups, he has been found with matches on more than one occasion (Why is it the rest of us can NEVER find a match... seriously), and this morning before VBS he was sitting in the laundry room lighting matches in the clothes. For now, until I can think of something better, he is "staked" to me. He literally cannot go out of my sight, not even to the bathroom unless I am with him or I have assigned an old kid to accompany him. Any ideas on this one Cindy ?

He also admitted to harassing the fish and putting pee in the tank. He asked why my fish were gone, I told him someone was being mean to them and I thought they even put pee in the tank. He just said right out, "That was me," and hung his head a little. Now what do I do with that? I can't punish him for ruining my tranquil bathroom decor when FINALLY he has told the truth about SOMETHING, can I?

TWO words...psych eval. Fire-setting is a huge issue indicative of serious problems. Thank God he is so young right now. You already know how much prayer helps.
