This is early in the season, but there is no doubt that we heard the first spring peepers today! It won't be long before the nights are warm enough for us to hear the full symphony of the frogs and peepers. It is so loud and way cool. I can't wait to leave my bedroom windows open (cold or no) to hear the singing as I fall asleep.
Also, the swans have returned to the paddies. Soon the birders will show up to gawk.
