The weekend went very well for the most part. I guess the combination of swimming, a bunch of new people, staying at a hotel, going to the movies, eating a lot of fast food all worked together to give the new kids a break from their issues. Mary did not even wet her pants (maybe once?) during the whole weekend. Unfortunately, the trip home brought everyone to their senses and we are all back at it, wet pants and all. I am finding that attachment does not come automatically for me either. Love is not a feeling, but an act of the will. And as our worker reminded me this morning, God gives us grace sufficient for the day.
